What Happens at Alpha?
The Alpha course consists of a series of talks addressing key issues related to the Christian faith.
Alpha courses run in a wide variety of locations and at different times of the day. The typical format is below:
· Meal - 45 mins
· Talk - 45mins
· Coffee and small group discussion - 1hr
Introduction Dinner: Is there more to life than this?
Week 1: Who is Jesus?
Week 2: Why did Jesus die?
Week 3: How can we have faith?
Week 4: Why and how do I pray?
Week 5: Why and how should I read the Bible?
Week 6: How does God guide us?
Week 7: How can I resist evil?
Week 8: Why & how should we tell others?
Week 9: Does God heal today?
Week 10: What about the Church?

KidZ FuZion
KidZ FuZion is our action-packed worship experience for our children ages 5 to fifth grade. Each Sunday morning our children begin their Spiritual journey with our trained staff as they teach Biblical principals from the Bible. These stories are enhanced through contemporary worship music and thought provoking lessons with practical hands on experience.
Throughout the year the KidZ will also participate in Community Fun Nights, Ministry opportunities, Camp-outs and a variety of other fun activities. Call 502-424-2234 for more info.

Change the Way You Think
Each of the 13 Lessons deal with a different topic that will change the way you think about personal finance. Dave teaches about how to save money, live on a budget, communicate about money, eliminate debt, find bargains, and experience the joy of giving.

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 35 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.

Blessings by the box
Angel Food is available in a quantity that can fit into a medium-sized box at $30 per unit. Each month's menu is different than the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen items with an average retail value of approximately $60. Comparison shopping has been done across the country in various communities using a wide range of retail grocery stores and has resulted in the same food items costing from between $42 and $78. Orders and distribution are handled by church host sites. Orders are collected by the host sites during the first part of each month.

Everyone has heard that "attitude determines altitude." But isn't that just a cliche from the world? What does God think about attitudes?
Join us Monday mornings at 10:00 A.M. or 7:00 P.M. as we study James MacDonald's; Lord, Change My Attitude.
Let God change your attitude from:
* complaining to thanksgiving
* covetousness to contentment
* criticism to love
* doubt to faith

Men's Ministry
The new man in Jesus Christ needs to be established in his faith. Establishment is the process of building the disciple into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and other Christian men.
Almost the first half of Jesus' public ministry was spent developing relationships with men who would ultimately become the leaders of the church. His goal was for men to become rooted, established, and built up in the faith. He desired for these men to have a solid knowledge of Himself and to know what it was to obey Him, trust Him, and follow Him for the rest of their lives.
Each fall the men participate in hands on ministry. This fall we went to Booneville, Kentucky and helped some families.

Cub Scout Pack 153 is chartered by the E3.20 Church in Crestwood, Kentucky. We are part of the Dan Boone District, Lincoln Heritage Council of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA)
